
Meteorologist
Chris started at FOX 56 in December 2021 and is thrilled to be back home and serving the community he grew up in.
Chris most recently worked at the CBS affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. His experience as a broadcast meteorologist stems from all over the Commonwealth. He’s also forecasted in Bowling Green, Hazard, and Lexington.
Chris is a graduate of both Morehead and Western Kentucky University where he received his Communication and Meteorology degrees.
During his time at WKU, he worked for the Kentucky Mesonet and State Climate Center, participated in many research-related activities, and also published his scientific work, “Evaluating Weather Research and Forecasting Model Sensitivity to Land and Soil Conditions Representative of Karst Landscapes” in Boundary-Layer Meteorology.

When Chris isn’t tracking weather, you can find him out and about in the community. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and loves visiting various attractions across the state.
