Digital Content Producer
Matthew joined the FOX 56 team as a digital content producer on Nov. 1, 2021.
He was born and raised in Henderson County and has the best parents and sister anyone could ask for. He graduated from Henderson County High School in 2010.
With his love of all things math and weather, he initially studied meteorology out of college and also spent two years studying to enter the ministry as a youth minister. Eventually, Matthew followed his love of writing and graduated from Regent University in 2019.
Matthew married his wife, Amber, in May 2020 after dating for over nine years. As a 2021 graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Matthew credits his continued growth as both a person and a professional to watching his wife thrive no matter what she’s up against.
Anyone that knows Matthew knows his heart bleeds Kentucky blue and his love of all things sports matches his passion. When he isn’t talking Kentucky sports, he’s either chatting about the NFL, college football and basketball, or fantasy football.
Matthew can often be seen cracking jokes and breaking news with his FOX 56 News digital team, but he also loves learning and writing about interesting people and events in Kentucky history.
