LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Lexington police are investigating a robbery at a video game store that happened within minutes of the business opening on March 29.
The female employee working at Game Xchange on West Tiverton Way that morning said the man walked around the store for a bit before approaching the counter where he demanded she empties the registers “or else.” Fearing she might be hurt, she complied and emptied two drawers before he took off out the front door. Detectives are thankful that she wasn’t hurt in this holdup, but they’re concerned because if he tries this again, it might not end the same way.
