MAGOFFIN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Wednesday crash on the Mountain Parkway in Magoffin County has left one person dead.

The Magoffin County sheriff told FOX 56 that Wednesday evening a vehicle was traveling east in the westbound lanes, causing it to collide with an RV around exit 130. The driver of the vehicle died.

The people in the RV did not suffer serious injuries, according to the sheriff, but the name of the deceased has yet to be revealed.

The Mountain Parkway has since been reopened.
