MARION COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – A narcotics investigation by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday led to a home near the Marion County Middle School.

The sheriff’s office said they conducted a narcotics investigation that led to Marion County directly beside the Marion County Middle School. When they searched the home they found around a half pound of meth, over $17,000 in cash, crack and cocaine, heroin, pills, marijuana, scales, drug paraphernalia, and multiple guns.

According to an arrest citation, the drugs were in a bedroom locked with a padlock inside a black safe. A photograph from the sheriff’s office shows five large guns and seven smaller handguns.

Jeri Bright, of Lebanon, was arrested and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.

He is charged with the following:

  • First-offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
  • First-offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine)
  • First-offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin)
  • First-offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (10 D.U. drug unspecified)
  • First-offense first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (10 D.U. date rape drug)
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school
  • Trafficking in marijuana under 8oz
  • Third-degree unlawful transaction of a minor
  • Endangering the welfare of a minor
