CORBIN, Ky. (FOX 56) — An unidentified, and possibly unaware, person has won $1 million after buying a Mega Millions ticket on Tuesday in eastern Kentucky.

The Kentucky Lottery said on Facebook that the ticket was purchased at a Circle K in Corbin.

The winner could be looking at roughly $710,000 after taxes if they take the lump sum.

The next drawing will be on Friday night, with an estimated $205 million jackpot.
