KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – A 14-year-old girl was reported missing and a missing person’s report was filed on Tuesday by Knox County authorities.

The missing 14-year-old, Bethany Cureton, was said to have left her home through a bedroom window on Monday. Authorities said a surveillance video showed Cureton in the company of an older man at Speedy Mart in Corbin.

The man was located and questioned but law enforcement determined he was not connected to her disappearance. Law enforcement did find Cureton and an arrest was made.

Cody Gregory, 20, of Barbourville, was taken into custody where he was charged with:

  • Custodial interference
  • Unlawful transaction with a minor, first-degree
  • Rape, first-degree
