CADIZ, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) received a call from Trigg County Dispatch to assist with a death investigation.

KSP said they received a call shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Thursday and went to the 2200 block of South Road where they found a man.

The man was identified as 23-year-old Kevin J. Croft, 23, of Hopkinsville.

According to KSP, the preliminary autopsy showed no signs of fatal trauma. Croft was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trigg County Coroner’s Office.

The cause of death is still under investigation.
