JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A body was found near a highway Tuesday morning in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Coroner’s Office told FOX 56 News that a male body was found on the side of Highway 421.
Jackson County Emergency Management reported around 10:45 a.m. that Highway 421 North from Lundsford Hollow Road to Highway 1955 was shut down. It later reopened around 11:30 a.m.
The coroner’s office said it had no positive identity for the body, and it was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.
