LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A body was recovered from a lake in Lincoln County on Thursday.

Lincoln County Emergency Management said a body was recovered from Cedar Creek Lake after a call around 12:15 p.m. Emergency management said they were contacted after a man entered the water off Highway 1770.

The rescue operation turned into a recovery operation and 21-year-old Corey Denson of Richmond was pulled from the lake and declared dead around 5:25 p.m. by the Lincoln County Coroner.
