LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — An eastern Kentucky family was watching TV when an instant play game won big.

Kentucky Lottery said, Allison Jacobs and Danny Slone from Pippa Passes were watching TV when Jacobs decided to wager $2 on the Bank Buster Jackpot game.

“It just popped up jackpot on the screen,” she said. “I started freaking out!”

The game completed four rounds when she discovered she had won the game’s $127,331.59 jackpot prize.

“I showed him, and we got up and ran in and woke up my mom and dad, who are staying with us,” Jacobs said. “I freaked them out, they didn’t know what was happening. They didn’t believe me at first but a few minutes later, they were excited and happy for us.”

Lottery officials said Jacobs told them it took a little while for everyone to calm down and go back to sleep.

That morning the couple drove to lottery headquarters, where they took home a check for $91,042.09 after taxes.  They said they plan to use the winnings to pay off their home.
