PRINCETON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A murder investigation is underway after a woman died Sunday in Caldwell County.

Kentucky State Police said they were contacted by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department to investigate a death on Dripping Springs Road in Princeton. State police said a call came in that 43-year-old Eric Wright, of Princeton, called 911 to report an unresponsive woman.

Police confirmed 27-year-old Rachel Tucker, of Princeton, had died. Police said after a preliminary investigation foul play was suspect and Writght was interviewed and charged with murder, domestic violence.

The investigation is ongoing.
