FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — Gov. Beshear has declared a state of emergency ahead of anticipated severe storms.
Beshear is urging citizens to stay inside and don’t get out on the roadway if possible for the rest of the day. He has also recommended businesses close early if possible in order for employees to get home prior to the storm.
Utility crews are on standby, according to Beshear, due to the threat of power outages that can be caused by high wind.
