MOREHEAD, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Department of Juvenile Justice Morehead Youth Development Center reported an escape on Saturday.

According to the Department of Justice, around 3:45 p.m. EST, a female minor escaped from the MYDC. Morehead City Police Department was immediately contacted.

After an investigation and search, the escaped female was safely located around 6:15 p.m.
