LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — There were several races on the ballot this Election Day, and Republicans took every statewide office, excluding the governor.
Russell Coleman will replace Daniel Cameron as attorney general, defeating Pam Stevenson.
Allison Ball will now move from the treasurer’s office into the job of auditor. She faced Democrat Kim Reeder.
Jonathan Shell had a convincing win over Sierra Enlow in the race for agriculture commissioner.
Gov. Beshear was reelected governor after defeating Daniel Cameron.
The incumbent Republican secretary of state, Michael Adams, will serve four more years after being reelected Tuesday night. He was challenged by former state Rep. Charles “Buddy” Wheatley.
Republican Mark Metcalf is the new state treasurer, winning over Michael Bowman.
