LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – We’re tracking new development in the case of a missing West Virginia infant.

Last night, the search brought multiple agencies to an Eastern Kentucky pond.

Law enforcement have been searching for 3-month-old Angel Nichole Overstreet since early May. That search continued last night as investigators looked at a pond in Carter County.

The pond sits on the property owned by the girl’s father, Shannon Overstreet.

A city of Huntington spokesperson said the Huntington Police Department was working with other agencies at the property near Olive Hill. The spokesperson confirmed that law enforcement were searching the pond for evidence of Angel.

Shannon Overstreet was arrested on an unrelated malicious wounding charge last month.

At this point, investigators aren’t releasing any new information about the search for Angel, but they are saying that right now, nobody is being eliminated as a suspect in her disappearance.
