LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky is making a name as a resignation state. According to a recent WalletHub study, the Bluegrass state came in the top 10 when looking at resignation rates.
The state with the highest resignation rate was Alaska with 4.37% over the last 12 months and an even higher 4.50% in the last month. The state with the least resignations was New York at 1.80% in the last 12 months and 1.30% in the last month.
Kentucky had a 3.59% rate in the last 12 months and 2.9 in the last month. Kentucky was similar to its neighbors West Virginia (sixth) with 3.2% last month and Tennessee (seventh) with 3% in the last month.
Ohio (40) with 2.10% in the last month and Virginia (34) with 2.20 had the smallest resignation rate of Kentucky’s neighbors.
