LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentuckians could soon see Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the menu at their favorite McDonald’s location.

Starting March 21, three Krispy Kreme doughnut varieties — Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled — will be available at approximately 160 McDonald’s locations across Louisville, Lexington, and surrounding areas for a limited time.

This offering is part of an “expanded market test” to explore consumer demand, Krispy Kreme stated in a recent press release.

The doughnuts, delivered fresh daily from Krispy Kreme to select Kentucky McDonald’s, will be available in-restaurant, at the Drive Thru, via McDelivery, and on the McDonald’s App.

This market test is for a limited time only, Krispy Kreme announced, so “run, dough-nut walk to your nearest participating McDonald’s to get a taste.”
