THORNTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky State Police provided an update on a teen reported missing on Monday.

Kelly G. Mckenzie, 17, was found safely around 7 p.m., according to KSP.

Kentucky State Police is searching for a missing teen in Letcher County.

Authorities said Kelly G. Mckenzie, 17, of Thornton, was last seen at her residence around 5 a.m. on Monday.

Mckenzie is described as a 5’8″ white female weighing 150 lbs. According to KSP, McKenzie has a medium build, long black hair, and brown eyes.
