LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (FOX 56) — On Wednesday, 20-year-old Brandon Robert Johnson was arrested by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, just 15-minutes after a most wanted poster of him went live on the sheriff’s Facebook page.
Deputy Gil Acciardo said just one day earlier, a laptop was turned into their office and when deputies turned it on and reviewed the files, they discovered disturbing images.
“It’s out there, and it really tears our guys up to investigate these things,” Deputy Acciardo said. “Allegedly, this male subject had sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl, devious sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 12, in addition, we found that the accused was in possession of matter portraying a two-year-old male subject performing sex.”
Deputy Acciardo said they immediately got in contact with Johnson, but he would not cooperate. So they shared the following most-wanted photo of him on Facebook, and just 15-minutes later, they got a call with a tip on his whereabouts.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in locating a wanted man.
The sheriff’s office is attempting to locate 20-year-old Brandon Robert Johnson, of East Bernstadt, in regards to an investigation regarding child abuse and sexual content that was found on a computer.
Johnson is wanted for sodomy, rape, and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.
