LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A death investigation is underway after a man, who was reported missing, was found dead in a car on Saturday west of London.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said they are conducting a death investigation after a man was found dead in a car off West Line Creek Road about 7 miles west of London. The office said a passerby called 911 to report a possible deceased person in a vehicle.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Investigators found the vehicle and identified the man as Joshua Halge who was reported missing around March 17.

An autopsy was conducted in Frankfort to help determine the cause of death, but no cause has been released.

A London has been missing for nearly a week.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Department has provided updated photographs of 35-year-old Joshua Hagle. Hagle was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Friday. He is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 220 lbs., and bald with a medium build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red hoodie, and tennis shoes.
