LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) – A woman was sent to a Louisville hospital on Sunday after being shot by a police officer.

Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) asked Kentucky State Police (KSP) to investigate an officer-involved shooting on Chenault Road in Louisville.

Kentucky State Police said a female subject was transported from the scene to a hospital for treatment and said no other people were injured during the incident.

KSP said it won’t release more details until vital witnesses have been interviewed.
