CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has requested the assistance of Kentucky State Police to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Saturday.

KSP said the shooting occurred just before 3:30 p.m. EST on Denny Road.

A man has been transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigations into the shooting are ongoing.
