LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A Somerset man was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison on Tuesday for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Mark A. Bauer, 35, submitted a guilty plea in July after law enforcement found multiple bags of methamphetamine in his possession on Jan 5. 2020.

According to his plea agreement, Bauer said he developed a relationship with multiple supplies of methamphetamine and he routinely obtained multiple-ounce quantities with the intent to distribute to others in the area.

Under federal law, Bauer is required to serve at least 85% of his prison sentence.
