ASHLAND, Ky. (FOX 56) — Rock the Country is ditching highways for back roads to bring country music to small-town America.
The two-day festival will travel to seven locations across the country, including one stop in eastern Kentucky. According to Rock the Country, lineups will vary by location.
“Rock The Country aims to bring the excitement and energy of a large-scale music festival to small towns across the country,” said Shane Quick, President of Touring and Strategic Expansion, LiveCo. “With seven big shows in seven different towns, this event promises to be an experience like never before. Fans can expect a weekend filled with incredible performances, great food, and a sense of community that only small towns can offer.”
Rock the Country is bringing energy to Ashland from April 19–20, 2024.
“Ashland might be a small town, but we have big dreams, and it seems each week those dreams are coming true and our future is looking brighter,” said Brandy Clark, Executive Director of Visit Ashland. “We are so thankful our town has been given the opportunity to host the Rock the Country Tour, and we can’t wait to celebrate the resilience and spirit of our community through the magic of live music!”
Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, and Miranda Lambert will headline the show at the Boyd County Fairgrounds, following artists such as Brantley Gilbert, Travis Tritt, Nelly, Galvin Adcock, Colt Ford, Elvie Shane, Sadie Bass, and Dee Jay Silver.
