LANCASTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky State Police is investigating skeletal remains found in Garrard County.

KSP was contacted just before 2 p.m. on Sunday regarding suspected human remains that were uncovered off Crab Orchard Road in Garrard County.

According to KSP, the human skeletal remains were removed by the Garrard County coroner and taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for identification.
