MCCREARY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Skeletal remains were found in McCreary County on Saturday evening, according to the McCreary County Coroner’s Office.

Around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, the McCreary County Sheriff’s Office was informed that skeletal remains had been found in the Revelo/Stearns area.

The identity is not yet known.

The McCreary County Coroner said the remains will be sent to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
