MOREHEAD, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Rowan County Coroner’s Office has identified the skeletal remains that were found in Morehead on Sept. 24.

The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Brian Wayne Doyle, of Cynthiana.

Doyle’s remains were found in the evening in a remote wooded area. A search of the area began and went on until dark. That search resumed Monday morning.

There was no cause of death revealed at this time.

Rowan County officials expressed condolences to Doyle’s family and friends but asked that the public respect their privacy at this time.
