POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Powell County Search and Rescue has made yet another rescue from a Kentucky state park.
The organization released on Thursday that they had received a call from a hiker after her girlfriend had fallen over a cliff. The women were hiking just past the gazebo at the top of the Natural Bridge when one of them slipped on fallen leaves near the edge of a cliff and fell over.
The hiker told PCSAR that she watched her friend hit her head multiple times on the way down.
