LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — UK baseball made a stop on Thursday to comfort a Corbin Little League team who lost a teammate in a tragic accident.

Eli Hill, 8, playing basketball outside his home on Monday when he decided to get on a stool to dunk the ball when the backboard came off the pole and landed on Eli’s chest causing serious injuries. Hill later died from his injuries.

The UK baseball team stoped by Hill’s Little League team to share a prayer and words of encouragement before they head to their Alabama game.
