LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Are you looking to familiarize yourself with the ballot before the 2022 general election in Kentucky on Tuesday, Nov. 8?

Kentucky’s 2022 general election will also include two constitutional amendments seeking to decide if Kentucky’s constitution protects access to abortions and if the Kentucky legislature should have the power to call a special session.

The Kentucky Secretary of State’s office has sample ballots for Kentucky counties available online:

Kentucky voters wanting to participate in the election needed to be registered to vote by Oct. 11.

Who can vote in Kentucky?

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and a Kentucky resident for at least 28 days before the election
  • Be at least 18 years old by the general election
  • Not be a felon
  • Not judged mentally incompetent in a court of law and had voting rights removed
  • Cannot claim the right to vote outside of Kentucky
