LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky State Police arrested a man Tuesday after an undercover child sexual exploitation offense investigation.

Police said 31-year-old Damien K. Belt was arrested after investigators discovered him sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. After a search of a home in Clay on Tuesday, equipment was taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.

Belt was charged with 33 counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old, 33 counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old, and two counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sexual performance.

Belt was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center. According to the Webster County Detention Center, a cash bond was set at $250,000.
