LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – As National Dog Day makes its return on Friday, Camp Bow Wow released its most popular dog breeds in Kentucky for 2022.
According to Camp Bow Wow’s research, the top five dog breeds in Kentucky are:
- Labrador Retriever
- Goldendoodle
- Golden Retriever
- Australian Shepherd
- Beagle
The remaining five breeds of dogs that round out the top 10 nationally (in no specified order) are:
- Border Collie
- Chihuahua
- German Shepherd
- Pit Bull Terrier
- Siberian Husky
Camp Bow Wow also reported the top 10 dog names, with Luna claiming the top spot.
Friday offers dog owners and lovers alike the opportunity to show a little extra love to the furry friends that are such important parts of their lives.
