WOODBINE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Authorities have charged one man with murder in connection to the death of a 3-year-old in Whitley County.
Kentucky State Police said units were contacted by the Whitley County Sheriff’s office at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to request assistance with a death investigation of a 3-year-old in Woodbine.
According to KSP, Whitley County EMS responded to a residence where a 3-year-old child was unresponsive. The child was transported to Baptist Health in Corbin and later pronounced deceased by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
A news release issued by KSP stated Jordan Taylor, 22, of Woodbine, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death.

The 3-year-old’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
