LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were arrested following a shooting late Friday night on Alexandria Drive that left two injured.

At 11:26 p.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Alexandria Drive after receiving reports of shots fired. At the scene, the police said they found two people who had been shot: one adult man and one minor. The pair were taken to an area hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.


After further investigation, authorities arrested both Juan Luis Esparza, 19, and Juan Pablo Esparza at the scene.

According to arrest records, Juan Luis was charged with:

  • First-degree assault
  • Second-degree assault
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • First-degree wanton endangerment

Juan Pablo, meanwhile, was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.

The two of them were booked into the Lexington Jail.
