LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified the shooting victim as 18-year-old Dametrius Hampton.
According to the coroner’s report, Hampton was declared dead at 4:14 a.m. outside of the Cook Out fast food restaurant.
Earlier on Sunday, the Lexington police identified 21-year-old Jacolby Williams as the alleged shooter and asked him to turn himself in.

At 3:27 a.m., Lexington police were called to the 800 block of South Broadway after a man was found lying in a parking lot.

At the scene, the police said they found a man who had been fatally shot. The shooter fled before the police arrived.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased at a later time.
