LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Two teens were arrested in connection with a Sept. 10 shooting on West Short Street and Mill Street.
At 10:44 p.m. on Sept. 10, police were called to the area of Short Street and Mill Street for a shooting. Where they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital where one was treated for critical injuries and another for non-life-threatening injuries.

The pair of 16-year-olds were arrested and are being charged. One teen was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of possession of a handgun by a minor, and wanton endangerment.
The second teen was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment.
Both are being held at a juvenile detention center.
