The sudden and violent death has left his family in disbelief.
Justin Cooke’s ex-girlfriend said she can’t believe the father of her children is gone.
“Somebody has to answer to Treasure about Justin, about that and I hope that someone gives my baby the opportunity to look this guy in his face,” Arione White said.
White said Cooke’s family wants to know why he was ambushed at the gas station.
“He just made bad decisions, and ultimately, it cost him his life. But he was a good person, and he didn’t deserve and deserve it,” White said.

White said Cooke built his life around his four children and now she must raise them on her own.
“When I think of him loving his kids like really that that was the only thing that he strived, that’s what he fought for. That’s what he breathed for with his kids,” Cooke said.
The two men have been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
