LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Lexington Fire Department said two people injured earlier this month in an apartment fire have died.

The fire happened on Oct. 15 on Malabu Drive.

The victim’s names have not been released. Officials said the fire was sparked by smoking material and appears to have been an accident.
