VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) – A group of puppies is getting ready for their own derby celebration, and it’s going to help the humane society that’s been caring for them.

The “Kenpuppy Derby,” hosted by the Woodford Humane Society, is coming back to Falling Springs this weekend. The puppies are training for their big race on Saturday.

People attending can also participate in games and a hat contest.

It’s all to raise money for the humane society.
