LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Several people are in the hospital following a Monday night crash in Lexington.

Police said the crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Newtown Pike and Aristides Boulevard and involved five vehicles.

One driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital for injuries Lexington police described as non-life-threatening.

A portion of the intersection was closed for cleanup and investigation but has since reopened.
