LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A Lexington man has been arrested for a string of metal thefts from late May to early September.

An arrest has now been made in Lexington in connection with multiple metal thefts that caused over $150,000 worth of damage to local businesses.

Lexington police said from late May to early September 2022, officers responded to several metal thefts from HVAC units in the Chevy Chase and Nicholasville Road areas. Detectives have now charged Kenneth Jordan with 15 counts of first-degree criminal mischief.

Jordan is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
