LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — As support continues for the family of fallen Scott County Deputy Caleb Conley, a Lexington livestock auction house is doing its part to contribute.

The Bluegrass BBQ Festival is set to take place from noon to 8 p.m. on June 10 at the Blue Grass Stockyard. Before that begins, the stockyard will announce a special sale in honor of Conley.

The “Cattleman for Caleb Conley” sale will be held at the Blue Grass Stockyard at 1 p.m. on June 13. A steer has been donated for auction and all the proceeds from the sale will go to the family of Conley.

In addition, Blue Grass Stockyard said the sale will be a rollover, which means the steer can be bought and sold back multiple times to increase the selling price, and therefore the amount to go to the family.
