LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — St. Patrick’s Day is nearly here, and you can celebrate by running for a good cause.

This year marks Lexington’s 17th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 3K. You can take part in this St. Patrick’s Day tradition by joining the in-person race on March 18 or by completing a virtual race from anywhere, March 11 – March 31.

Race proceeds benefit the Lexington Habitat for Humanity, which works to provide shelter to those who need it.

The race starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at Fasig-Tipton. Registration for the in-person race ends March 16 at 11:59 p.m. The virtual race registration goes through March 31.
