LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – With the 2023 Railbird Festival slated for June 3-4 at The Infield at Red Mile, festival officials have announced improvements to the experience.
Officials said they’re taking steps to address past concerns about the event including food and drink, shade, water stations, and more:
- Food and drink: Adding additional bar frontage, increasing staff
- Shade: Adding standalone shade structures, extending the tent structure past the viewing area at one of the three stages
- Water stations: Doubling the number of stations
- Other policies: Allowing one unopened factory-sealed water bottle and refillable bottles
“Fan experience is extremely important to us, and we heard your concerns loud and clear. We continue to work hard behind the scenes to elevate the Railbird 2023 experience,” Railbird Festival tweeted on Tuesday.
In addition, the festival teased more announcements are to come in the next month.
