LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Chick-fil-A could be rolling out its newest sandwich creation, but not before doing some product testing.
The popular quick-service joint has picked two cities to give the first taste, and one of them is right here in the Bluegrass.
The Maple Pepper Bacon sandwich will launch on June 12 at select restaurants in Lexington (for a limited time). It will launch in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the same time.
Chick-fil-A describes the new entree as a grilled lemon herb marinated boneless breast of chicken topped with pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and bacon hand-tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend. It’s served on a toasted maple-flavored brioche bun.
The select product release comes the same day the much-loved Peach Milkshake returns nationwide for the summer season, Chick-fil-A announced.
Additionally, on June 12, Chick-fil-A’s spicy chicken biscuit will make its return to locations nationwide and stay on the menu for good.
