CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A new smartphone app launched in Clark County will allow parents to track their kid’s school bus.
Edu Parent Portal Log is aimed at improving school bus safety, efficiency, and communication by providing parents with a live GPS location of their child’s school bus. It also allows parents to set a designated bus stop and receive a push notification when it is nearing.
The app — free for parents, guardians, and students — will also send time-sensitive messages such as when a bus is running late on its route due to maintenance or weather.

Accurate school bus locations are sent from a GPS tracking device installed on each bus, which allows not only guardians to track, but maintenance and transportation officials as well in order to keep buses running smoothly and on time.
Edu Parent Portal Log is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
