LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Cocaine Bear is set to marry a Kentucky couple.

Yes, you heard that right, and yes, we’re talking about that Cocaine Bear — the one who has made headlines this year for his connection to Kentucky and is the story behind a blockbuster film.

The KY for KY Fun Mall made the wedding announcement on Friday that the beloved taxidermied bear will perform a wedding ceremony for one lucky couple.

This will be the first wedding ceremony Cocaine Bear has presided over, and it certainly begs the question — is that legal?? Well, Kentucky for Kentucky Co-founder Griffin VanMeter said according to state law, absolutely!

“As long as you feel that the person marrying you—like Cocaine Bear—has the authority, then that marriage can be binding here in Kentucky,” said VanMeter.

KY for KY said many to-be-weds have reached out about to see if Cocaine Bear could preside over their wedding, but the ones who are set to be took their inquiry seriously.

The ceremony is at 12 p.m. on March 27 at the Kentucky Fun Mall, located at 720 Bryan Ave. in Lexington, KY., and is open to the public.
