LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington is about to get a taste of some tasty hot wings fresh from the Rocky Mountains.

Golden Flame Hot Wings is expanding out of Colorado, and its first stop is near the Fayette Mall in the heart of the Bluegrass.

The Aurora-based hot wing restaurant will be opening this November at 141 Rojay Dr., where BurgerFi used to be.

Golden Flame Hot Wings was started in 1994 in Aurora, Colorado. Since then, the branch has grown into a dine-in favorite, with four additional locations scattered across Colorado.

So what’s on the menu?

Golden Flame Hot Wings features bone-in and boneless wings with 19 specialty sauces to choose from.

Their menu goes beyond wings. There are eight different types of fries, along with sandwiches, wraps, seafood, and desserts. What really stands out on their menu is the Rocky Mountain Oysters, aka bull testicles.
