LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Reports of damage and debris are being reported in various locations across central Kentucky following Thursday morning’s severe weather system.

Mercer County

In Mercer County, high winds peeled back the roof at the Harrodsburg YMCA, blew branches and roofing debris into trees and roadways, and damaged power lines.

Richmond

The Richmond Police Department reported that high winds in the area blew large amounts of debris into roadways. Traffic is being diverted on West Main in the area of Pin Oak Drive as crews work to clear the road.
